Welcome! Let me tell you a little bit more about myself and this blog. I'm from Belgium (couldn't have guessed that from the title, right?) but I'm currently living in Chicago, Illinois. Although this has been, and still is, an amazing experience, I also miss my homecountry and especially the sense of style I encounter everyday in Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels. I started this blog as a dedication to my favorite designers and to show the world that Belgium is so much more than chocolate, beer and waffles (still don't really get that one). However, I feel I want to share more than just fashion and lifestyle news. This experience has really opened my eyes to the differences in journalism and how a lack of correct and objective information can truly misguide a significant part of the population. So consider this blog as a mix of light entertainment and relevant social and political issues that need to be brought to the attention.
